Meet Michael

For Michael Neri, real estate truly runs in the family. Both of his parents earned their REALTOR® licenses in the 1980’s, and his brother is currently an agent as well. With this kind of lineage, it’s no wonder Michael gravitated towards a career in real estate.

A native of San Diego, Michael came to the Bay Area in 2000 to attend UC Berkeley and never left. After graduating, Michael moved into Financial Technology and Services, working as a Relationship Manager for Thomson Reuters and Onboarding companies preparing for their IPO at Nasdaq, Inc. It was there that he learned the account and project management skills and deep understanding of client services and financial markets that he brings to his real estate career.

From the Mission to the Marina, Michael has called many parts of San Francisco home since moving to the city in 2004, giving him an insider’s knowledge of the city’s many diverse neighborhoods. Michael himself is both a long-time San Francisco homeowner and landlord, so he knows about investing. Not coincidentally, Michael has stated that his mission in real estate is to make sure that his clients are making smart investments and buying something they love in one of the world’s great cities.

Michael has been described as energetic, personable, and stylish, and the latter could explain his love for interior design and architecture. But his greatest enthusiasm lies in a deep love of dogs having recently rescued a fun-loving Labrador puppy named Zukes. Michael is most content when he and Zukes are joined by Michael’s husband for a jog in Golden Gate Park or around Lake Merced, swimming at the McLaren Park Reservoir, exploring Fort Funston and discovering the less-traveled neighborhoods of San Francisco.
